A New Chapter for Independent, Character-Led Luxury
We are proud to share that Villa Escape by Burasari has joined Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), a globally recognised collection of more than 700 independently owned hotels across over 100 countries.
Since July 2026, our private villa retreat on Koh Maphrao, Phuket, has been part of the SLH collection, a milestone that reflects what defines Villa Escape:
– Intimate Island Living – just 15 villas and suites, offering privacy and personalised service
– Independent Spirit – owned and operated by Burasari Group, a family-led Thai hospitality company founded in 2002
– Sense of Place – contemporary tropical design, locally inspired cuisine and a close connection to the island and its community
Set on Coconut Island, a short boat journey from Phuket, Villa Escape by Burasari is a natural addition to a collection that believes luxury is personal and no two stays should feel the same.
